PRINTING / DESIGN TIPS

SOMETHING TO KNOW ABOUT PRINTING

- All Laser / Digital / injet printers in World Of Print are CMYK colour based.
- RGB is the colour space used in digital cameras and computer monitors.
- All RGB artwork will be converter to CMYK by an automated process through
Raster Image Processor (RIPs). These process will result less satisfactory.
- Monitor display colours in RGB. However, CMYK will still be displayed as CMYK to
the extend. Brightness and contrast setting on your monitor will vary the results.
- If colours are absolutely critical, request a hardcopy proof from us.
- Colours may slightly vary from day to day and press to press. Various conditions
affect colours printed by the CMYK Processes and for this reason CMYK Colour
Outline will not held responsible for any reprints as a result of colour fluctuations
and variations.
- A4 and A3 printing comes with minimum 5mm white border due to printers' default
setting. Fit to printer's margin options is available to avoid any lost of text or
images. In order to print full bleed, A3 can be printed onto SR-A3 (Oversize A3) and
A4 onto A3 paper.
- Due to different model and branding of the printers, Colour Profile could not be set,
thus colours may vary from printer to printer.
